General Manager – Hotel Operations

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the overall operations of a hotel in Varanasi. The ideal candidate should have strong operational expertise in both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage (F&B), exceptional leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills to ensure outstanding guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel across all departments.

• Manage Front Office, Housekeeping, Rooms Division, and Food & Beverage operations.

• Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high hospitality standards.

• Lead, motivate, and mentor departmental heads and hotel staff.

• Monitor hotel performance, budgets, and operational efficiency.

• Handle guest complaints and ensure timely resolution with a guest-first approach.

• Implement and maintain SOPs, quality standards, and compliance with statutory regulations.

• Coordinate with vendors, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

• Drive revenue growth while maintaining cost control and profitability.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in hotel operations, including leadership experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in both Rooms Division and Food & Beverage (F&B) operations.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in hotel PMS and other hotel management systems is preferred.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates currently based in Varanasi are highly preferred.

• Experience with reputed hotels or hospitality brands will be an added advantage.

• Immediate joiners are preferred.
