Position: AI Automation Engineer / Agentic AI Engineer

Role Purpose

We are looking for an innovative and solution-oriented AI Automation Engineer / Agentic AI Engineer to design and implement AI-driven workflows that improve quotation generation, BOQ creation, and procurement operations.

The ideal candidate will combine expertise in prompt engineering, AI agents, workflow automation, document understanding, and business process optimization to help teams work faster, smarter, and with greater accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI assistants and agent-based workflows for:
• Quote drafting
• BOQ generation
• Procurement comparison processes
• Build structured prompts and reliable AI outputs for business applications.
• Integrate AI systems with databases, spreadsheets, document repositories, and internal business tools.
• Enable AI systems to extract and process data from:
• Emails
• PDFs
• Excel files
• Technical and business documents
• Create validation rules, approval workflows, exception handling, and business guardrails before final outputs are shared with customers or vendors.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, operations, and leadership teams to convert business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Monitor AI output quality and continuously improve system accuracy, reliability, and usability.
• Support automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

• Reduce turnaround time for customer quotations.
• Generate draft BOQs from project inputs and documents.
• Improve procurement comparison processes through AI-driven structured data extraction.
• Build AI-assisted workflows with human review and approval mechanisms.
• Enhance consistency, traceability, and process speed across pre-sales and procurement operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with:
• Prompt Engineering
• LLM-based workflows
• AI automation tools
• Experience building AI agents or multi-step automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of workflow automation and business process optimization.
• Knowledge of:
• SQL databases
• APIs and integrations
• Spreadsheet automation
• Document extraction systems
• Ability to work with unstructured and semi-structured data sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into scalable AI workflows.
